Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens Reviews
Morikami is beautiful! I arrived at 10:25 a.m., and was just in time for the 10:30 guided tour. The docent was knowledgeable, loud and clear. There were two other guides to make sure the group kept... more »
We visited Morikami at opening time on a weekday - we noticed it was much more crowded when we left about 1 hour later. Morikami is a beautiful Japanese Garden, not special for the choice of plants... more »
We love going here. Even though it’s about a 1-1.5 hour drive for us, we’ve been 3 times in the past year. This last time we finally got to have lunch at the restaurant. It was great! I hope we can eat there again next time. One of my favorite things is the gift shop. Wonderful finds in there! We get something every time we go. I also LOVE the bonsai garden! It’s really one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! It’s a great place to take pictures, relax, meditate, enjoy nature, and expose yourself to some Asian culture. Everyone should visit Morikami!
We had lunch at the cafe prior to the walk through the gardens. The service was excellent & the food was very good! We were surprised to see the bill wasn't crazy expensive for great food. The gardens are breath taking, amazing views. It was extremely hot so you must drink lots of water if you plan to visit during the summer months.
