Enjoy an interactive adventure through remote wildlife viewing at Scottish Seabird Centre. Get a close encounter with gannets, puffins, shags, and cormorants through a network of cameras placed on nearby islands. Remotely control a camera and project images of birds nesting, diving, or feeding their young onto the big screen. Scan for dolphin and whale sightings through the remote cameras, or join a boat trip to the islands. Check online for children's workshops and guided beach walks and to book boat trips in advance. Scottish Seabird Centre is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, North Berwick Edition.

Scottish Seabird Centre Reviews
Really nice cafe better than we thought. Good exhibition. Great view and fantastic gift shop. Fabulous experience. more »
We only visited the cafe for a spot of lunch. The leek and potato soup was good,as was the bacon and mozzarella toastie. We also returned later for tea and coffee. Staff were pleasant. The only downside ... more »
Great place to watch the Gannets dive bomb into shoals of bait-fish whilst having a brew and a piece of cake. You have a panoramic view looking out to sea from the restaurant. The majestic and odd Bass Rock off to your left. Helpful staff and an slightly bizarre shop full of eclectic stuff. lethal if you have kids... Only 4 stars as part of it was closed when I went. So can't write about the experience section downstairs. We have family in Edinburgh and I had heard lot's about this place but had never been and i thought it was utterly charming. We had lobster and chips around the corner. Kids swimming in the sea all set against a dramatic coastline in a pretty town. If you are anywhere near or thinking of travelling out to spend a day here I would highly recommend.
The seabird centre itself is a nice and important source of information about the birds. Tip, Take one of the boat trips to the islands and meet the birds up close. Very impressive and full of learning moments. Sadly the cheap or free parking nearby or in town is not available in large numbers. The other parking is really expensive with prices going up to 7 pounds for 3 hours.
