    The ruins of this Abbey remain an impressive sight and is probably the main historic attraction of the town. Free parking is available just a minutes walk and a visitor centre is located just below...  more »

    First time we have been back for 11 years. This is well worth a visit. Shame upstairs not open due to COVID. Lots to see with good information about  more »

    One of the best abbeys to visit Well preserved, and the ruins are enhanced by excellent signposting of what they once were. Narrow spiral staircase leads to the classic view of the full length of the nave (one way system means there are no awkward encounters.) Very interesting architecture, well explained. Very compact site.

    Very interesting and well worth a visit. Dogs allowed and a water bowl provided near the shop. It was empty when our little dog needed a drink but a knock on the staff door and a lovely young woman came out and filled it for us. It was a warm day and there were quite a lot of dogs there so the bowl would have been emptying quickly. I would recommend Jedburgh Abbey for people who have an Interest in this sort of place.... we certainly enjoyed it.
