Set against the backdrop of the imposing Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna de San Carlos offers visitors a chance to explore diverse natural landscapes and sample some delicious local produce.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Fri): soothe aching muscles at Tabacon Hot Springs. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 30th (Sat): admire the sheer force of La Fortuna Waterfall, relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, and then take in the exciting artwork at Onirica Art Gallery.

In July in Manuel Antonio National Park, expect temperatures between 30°C during the day and 23°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Sun) so you can go by car to Monteverde.
