Pigeon Forge

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Titanic Museum Attraction and Little Greenbrier School. Get outdoors at River Rafting & Tubing and Raft Outdoor Adventures. Venture out of the city with trips to Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Cades Cove & Clingmans Dome). There's lots more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount LeConte, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, see Foxfire Mountain Adventure Park, and trek along Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail.

To find photos, other places to visit, where to stay, and other tourist information, read our Pigeon Forge sightseeing planning tool.

July in Pigeon Forge sees daily highs of 87°F and lows of 69°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Wed) to allow time to travel back home.
