Blessed with picturesque lochs and a dramatic, rocky coastline, the far-flung Isle of Skye remains one of Scotland's most beloved destinations.

Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: look for gifts at Skye Batiks, then have some family-friendly fun at A.C.E Target Sports, and then get in touch with nature with Skye Adventure.

World Heritage-listed Edinburgh combines ancient and modern in a uniquely Scottish atmosphere.
Explore hidden gems such as St Aiden Beach and Blackness Castle. Venture out of the city with trips to Jedburgh (Jedburgh Castle Jail and Museum, Jedburgh Abbey, &more), Glentress Forest (in Peebles) and Berwick-upon-Tweed Barracks and Main Guard (in Berwick upon Tweed). Spend the 10th (Fri) exploring nature at Kielder Water & Forest Park. And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Verdant Works, steep yourself in history at Traquair House & Brewery, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Dunkeld Cathedral.
