A sparsely populated area with stunning views, Big Sur attracts artists and tourists traveling California’s scenic Highway 1.Get out of town with these interesting Big Sur side-trips: San Simeon (Hearst Castle, Friends of the Elephant Seal Visitor Center and Gift Shop, &more), Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park (in Felton) and Pebble Beach (The Links at Spanish Bay & Spyglass Hill Golf Course).
