Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Your day by day itinerary now includes Castle Stalker. On the 1st (Thu), contemplate the long history of Glenfinnan Monument, explore the historical opulence of Old Inverlochy Castle, then identify plant and animal life at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, and finally explore the historical opulence of Castle Stalker. On the 2nd (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll through West Highland Way and then identify plant and animal life at Glen Etive.

Inverness, often described as the Gateway to the Highlands, is a thriving commercial and industrial center.
Get outdoors at Loch Garten Nature Reserve and River Rafting & Tubing. Urquhart Castle and Fort George will appeal to history buffs.
