Get outdoors at The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Beadnell Bay Beach. Get some historical perspective at Edinburgh Castle and Bamburgh Castle. Change things up with a short trip to Bamburgh Beach in Bamburgh (about 1h 30 min away). There's much more to do: make a trip to The Real Mary King's Close, take in the dramatic natural features at Arthur's Seat, get great views at Calton Hill, and see the interesting displays at National Museum of Scotland.
