Edinburgh

Athens of the North
World Heritage-listed Edinburgh combines ancient and modern in a uniquely Scottish atmosphere.Head to Jenners and Stockbridge Marketfor plenty of shopping. Edinburgh Castle and National Museum of Scotland are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Go for a jaunt from Edinburgh to North Berwick to see Seacliff Beach about 1 hour away. There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Dalhousie Castle Falconry, look for gifts at Waterstones Booksellers, Ltd, explore the galleries of Royal Yacht Britannia, and make a trip to The Real Mary King's Close.
To find traveler tips, maps, and more tourist information, read Edinburgh day trip planner.
Expect a daytime high around 10°C in November, and nighttime lows around 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel back home.
