Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Mon): ponder the design of Magic Fountain (Font Magica), then appreciate the history behind Casa Batlló, then admire the striking features of La Sagrada Familia, and finally stroll through Park Guell. Here are some ideas for day two: see the interesting displays at Casa Milà, then take a stroll through El Barri Gòtic, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Barcelona Cathedral.
