On the confluence of two major rivers, Phnom Penh occupies a scenic location largely responsible for its nickname the "Charming City." On a trip to Phnom Penh you'll discover one of Asia's most dynamic cities, where the natives live much of their lives outdoors, on the streets, and in the bustling markets filled with scents of spicy foods.
Appreciate the collections at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and National Museum. Your inner history buff will appreciate Choeung Ek Genocidal Center and Royal Palace. There's still lots to do: surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, stroll around Royal Palace Park, and view the masterpieces at Lotus Space.

Stockholm, Sweden to Phnom Penh is an approximately 16.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus. You'll lose 6 hours traveling from Stockholm to Phnom Penh due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Stockholm in June, things will get much warmer in Phnom Penh: highs are around 40°C and lows about 30°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Kep.
