Margate to Edinburgh is an approximately 6-hour combination of flight and train. You can also take a train; or drive. Traveling from Margate in July, things will get a bit cooler in Edinburgh: highs are around 22°C and lows about 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Sun) so you can travel back home.
