Durness is a village and civil parish in the north-west Highlands of Scotland. Escape the urban bustle at Smoo Cave and Balnakeil Beach. Attractions like Durness Beach and Cairn House Gallery make great kid-friendly stops. Explore Durness' surroundings by going to Sandwood Bay Beach (in Kinlochbervie) and Achmelvich Beach (in Lochinver). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Sango Bay.
