  • One of the highlights of Namibia. Absolutely beautiful walk on the dunes. One of the most amazing parts about it is that it's different every day. Because strong winds blow the sand around every day you'll never see the same layout twice. Add to that the wind changing direction at different seasons and the dunes slope in a different direction (leaning left or right) as well. I recommend doing the walk barefoot. You'll avoid tons of sand in your shoes and connect with mother nature. 😁 At some points by the ledge it can get a little tough to walk because the path is narrow and people may be walking down while you walk up. At the top everyone will want their own photo to look like they're the only people there. Be sensitive that lots of people are waiting for you to take your photo and move along so you don't create a bottleneck. Sunglasses and sunscreen are a must.
  • Once in a lifetime experience. This is one of the highest sand dunes of the world. It looks pretty easy but in reality climbing it is much more difficult as your feet tends to get sucked in by the sand.
