A large factory compound on a hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the picturesque Adonis Valley in Alita/Byblos, has been transformed by an independent nonprofit organization into a dynamic museum.
The permanent exhibition, PANORAMA OF SCULPTURE IN LEBANON, displays 450 sculptures by eighty five renowned artists. The vast nature around the museum invites for various outdoor activities rebooting all the senses.

Old recycled factory. Vast collection of modern art, ordered according to the materials used, and contemporary, in which it is ideas that make the difference. Stunning space for children and teenagers, with poor material with which to make sculptures, or devote themselves to painting. Exhibiting artists must be born in Lebanon or foreigners who have chosen to live in Lebanon. Very important art library. Don't miss it

There, the visitor receives the MACAM Museum with sculptures and large objects outdoors before heading to the beautiful old and large former factory halls. Very impressive is the exhibition, which shows many objects of contemporary and modern art of Lebanon, sculptures, installations, objects, created from various materials, which give visitors the social, political and cultural situation of Lebanon Closer. Space is also created for children, for their artistic expression. For me, the MACAM Museum was one of the most impressive experiences of my Lebanon trip.
