I love the way that people just refer to these as ‘ruins’ without appreciating the fact that they’ve lasted 2,000 years and over that time there has been the countless collapse of civilisations as well as wars and invasions. This is a great little area right next to mosque and it allows you to take amazing sunrise photos also in the morning. Only downside, the locals and little police booth have no issues throwing all of their cigarette butts and plastic bottles into the site
