  • It was established long time ago... beautiful historic palace. More beautiful once you know what lies behind it's historic stories... Don't forget to see their soldier's batik painting....
  • Good place to learn history of Jogjakarta Palace. 5K for the fee entrance and 1K if you bring along your camera. You can just walk around yourself or get a guide that will explain stories about the palace. But in the end of the tour, it is polite if you give some money for the guide. This palace is also the residence of Sultan of Yogyakarta. There are some spots that you can not step on or pass, so be mindful for your footsteps. At the end of the tour, there will be batik sellers that will offer you their products. Price of the batik is quite expensive because mostly it is hand-painted batik. But the quality is very good.
