Pay your respects to the victims of the 2004 tsunami at Boat at Desa Lampulo, memorializing the natural disaster that wreaked havoc on the town of Aceh. Witness a displaced barge, pushed 5 km (3.1 mi) from its original mooring, which now sits on pavement. The barge now houses a museum depicting the tragic events of that day. Survey further damage from the rooftop of the barge, which gives you a panoramic view of the wounded city. Outside, a bronze wave statue gives a true-to-size representation of the debilitating surf that crashed over the city.     This place is located around 15minutes from the city and easily accessed with Grab. We reached there a bit later in the afternoon and no other visitors there. Local people will be there to assist you....  more »

    This is a memorable place for the 2014 tsunami in aceh. Its free entry. The entry list book only for foreigner. When i went there maybe there is still renovation because any sign off water fall but.....  more »
